Trees/Humans/Symbiosis
Rea has studied at the Faculty of Economics and has a great passion for research and research methods. She has consistently been engaged in research projects, viewing them as an opportunity to address important issues for society and to create a better reality for herself and others.
Currently, she is part of the INFRARED Residency as a researcher and activist. As part of this program, she will conduct research on the environment, focusing on green spaces and the role of trees in their cultivation. This topic is particularly important because there is a lack of information regarding the current state of these areas and the impact of humans on their destruction or development. Her research will provide statistics on the real situation at the national level, which will serve as open resources for scholars, architects, designers, and artists, helping them to offer creative proposals that will raise citizens’ awareness about the importance of public spaces and their improvement. Rea aims to collect opinions from citizens and professionals about the lack of trees, which are crucial for the sustainability of green spaces. Her goal is to increase public awareness about the importance of the plant world and the need for its protection, by providing data on the current situation and offering it as open resources for further study.
