Shtatëmbëdhjetë(17) thanks to the cooperation with the Regional Government of Styria for artists and theorists within the Styria-Artists-in-Residence program, in addition to the exchange program presents the second artist in residence for 2022, Veronika Eberhart.
Veronika Eberhart is a visual artist and musician based in Vienna. The use of media in her works is distinguished both by its high musicality and the negotiation of conceptual issues with the sensitivity of artistic practices of feminist positions. She studied Sociology at the Universities of Vienna and Copenhagen and Fine Art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Recently, she has presented solo exhibitions at school Vienna (2021), New Jörg, Vienna (2019), Bazament Art Space, Tirana (2018), Neue Galerie Graz / Studio (2017) and has appeared in group exhibitions at Belvedere 21, Vienna (2021), MAK Center, Los Angeles (2020), Établissement d’en face, Brussels (2020), Kunsthalle Vienna (2019), Kharkiv Municipal Gallery (2019), Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna (2018). In 2019 she received the Schindler Scholarship at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles. In 2020 she was an artist in residence at WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, in Brussels, Belgium.
