Gjatë tre ditëve do të aplikohen teknika të ndryshme të sintezës dhe sampling-ut për krijimin e tingujve të rinj për përdorim kreativ në muzikë. Në fazën e parë, pjesëmarrësit do të angazhohen në incizimin e tingujve nga instrumente të ndryshme muzikore dhe burime të tjera tingullore. Këta tinguj do të përpunohen dhe transformohen në mënyra kreative, duke eksploruar mundësi të reja të shprehjes muzikore. Gjatë dy ditëve të para do të krijohen disa “presete” tingujsh nga materialet e incizuara. Këto do të shërbejnë si bazë për performancën finale, e cila do të ndodhë ditën e tretë në formën e jam session. Në këtë performancë do të kombinohen instrumentet muzikore bashkë me playtron, duke e përdorur atë si një instrument në vete. Pjesëmarrja e instrumentistëve inkurajohet për këto co-creation sessions. Preferohet që ata të sjellin instrumentet e tyre personale, të cilat do të përdoren si për incizim gjatë ditëve të para, ashtu edhe për performancën finale, ku puna e realizuar do të prezantohet para publikut, në kombinim me improvizimin muzikor (jam session).
Tomor Kuçi është producent muzikor, kompozitor/kantautor dhe një nga themeluesit e fakultetit të parë të muzikës moderne në Kosovë, ku ligjëron lëndët e audio produksionit. Ka përfunduar studimet master në Audio Produksion në University of Westminster, Londër, me profesorë që kanë punuar me artistë si U2, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Underworld, etj. Është njohur si kantautor dhe vokalist me bendin The Freelancers, me të cilin ka realizuar një album me 12 këngë dhe ka performuar në festivale ndërkombëtare si Sziget Festival dhe Exit Festival. Me grupin Oborri ka realizuar një album me 14 këngë dhe ka zhvilluar turne ballkanik. Ka kompozuar dhe performuar muzikë në më shumë se 10 shfaqje teatrale.

Transform Anything into an Instrument: Playtron Co-Creation Sessions

Over the course of three days, different synthesis and sampling techniques will be applied to create new sounds for creative use in music. In the first phase, participants will engage in recording sounds from various musical instruments and other sound sources. These sounds will then be creatively processed and transformed, exploring new possibilities for musical expression.
During the first two days, several sound “presets” will be created from the recorded material. These will serve as the basis for the final performance, which will take place on the third day in the form of a jam session. During this performance, musical instruments will be combined with Playtron, using it as an instrument in itself.
Instrumentalists are especially encouraged to participate in these co-creation sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal instruments, which will be used both for recording during the first days and for the final performance, where the created work will be presented to the public in combination with musical improvisation (jam session).
Tomor Kuçi is a music producer, composer/songwriter, and one of the founders of the first modern music faculty in Kosovo, where he teaches audio production courses. He completed his Master’s studies in Audio Production at University of Westminster in London, studying with professors who have worked with artists such as U2, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, David Bowie, and Underworld. He is widely known as the songwriter and vocalist of The Freelancers, with whom he released a 12-track album and performed at international festivals such as Sziget Festival and Exit Festival. With the band Oborri, he released a 14-track album and toured across the Balkans. He has also composed and performed music for more than 10 theatre productions.
