Mentor: Arbër Selmani
The workshop served as a space to explore and better understand the queer perspective in literature, focusing on queer poetry as a powerful and sensitive medium for self-expression. Through the analysis of poems by queer Albanian and international authors, participants had the opportunity to learn about the uniqueness and emotional strength of this genre. The training included creative exercises that encouraged participants to experiment with their own writing, creating poems that reflect their unique experiences and perspectives.
Over these three days, Arbër Selmani shared his knowledge and experience, helping participants navigate the challenges and opportunities of publishing and sharing their work within Kosovo’s current literary context. The atmosphere was warm and supportive, fostering open discussions about queer perspectives and their impact on literature and art.
