Laureta Hajrullahu is a multimedia artist, based in Pristina. Her artwork explores privacy, intimacy, body politics, digital ecosystems, video games and impossible futures. Through her work in digital media, she presents various critical perspectives on ‘reality’. She does this by deconstructing and constantly re-evaluating the boundaries between the virtual and the physical world. Laureta is currently an artist in residence at Forum Stadtpark, Graz as part of the Styria-Artist-in-Residence Program, was part of Manifesta Biennale 14, Gjon Mili at the National Gallery of Kosovo and has participated in exhibitions at the Center for Contemporary Art in Montenegro, Institute for Contemporary Art – ISU, Galeria 17 in Prishtina, Station – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina, among others.
